    Default Acantha by Max Sprecher

Let me start by saying that this razor Max made for me is lovely, the fit & and finish is top notch.
My shave went so well that if i had one word to describe it it would be...butter.
This razor to me looks so good that i would like to exhibit it at home, but that is not the intention.
It's a tool, my tool and it will be used as one.
You know when you first embark on the custom route "you pays your money and you takes your chances" you never know what your gonna get, you only have other peoples reviews and experiences to go by, especially when you are 6,500 miles away from the maker, and no physical contact with some of the artists work.
Well in this case i did not have to worry, not that i did.
Max delivered a work of art to me which i will cherish for years to come.
So it's a 7/8 Humpback 1/4 hollow with carbon fiber scales.
I realize that the carbon will not be to everyone's taste, but i like to mix it up with "el moderno" style, but like it or not i am very very happy with this razor and always look forward to using it.
Thank you Max.... and a job well done.

Beautiful work. Is it just me, or is that spike point a little scary...

Well i wouldn't say scary, but it certainly teaches you discipline.
It's funny you say that, today i took the razor to a friend who's a car electrician to ask him to order me a hex for my razor.
Bear in mind they are not into straights, and it was evident.
I took it out of the case and when he saw it he was like what the hell is that,to be honest he looked a bit freaked out at the thought of putting that thing to your face,it did however make me smile.
You just don't realize how scary some people think razors are and would not dare use one.

My immediate thought upon seeing it was that it was the perfect razor for a cyborg. Maybe I've been watching too much sci-fi the last few years.

It's another beautiful razor from a master!

It's not just you...I kinda like my ears! All in all a beautiful razor that anyone would be proud to own.

Very interesting square shapes in the blade. I'm trying to wrap my head around how I would hone something like this.

I'm not seeing anything that would present a problem in honing. Where do you see anything that would be out of the ordinary for honing?

Oh, and I think Slasher would make a great name for a cyborg!

Lovely razor that you will enjoy for a life time. Max made me one with a very similar point and it is one of my favorite and best shavers. If you're aware it's there, you won't let it bite you.
