Thread: Huge price increase at Classic Shaving

Wow,


Some razors have gone up more than $60 dollars overnight...... Looks like it's mostly the TI's


I e-mailed them and they said it was a price adjustment and that they were selling the razors below the retail prices, I was also told that all of their cost have increased in getting these razors.

I do know that my suppliers prices to me on Dovos have jumped considerably as well. Sadly my prices on those will gradually creep up as well.

Good grief! I can't afford the TI 6/8 super gnome anymore! I guess I'll get the other Hoppe razor.

Every industry is seeing the same increases. Some (not all) of the cost are due to the increasing cost of getting the goods to sell. In other words gentlemen. GAS PRICES!!!!!!!!! My fuel surcharges on orders coming in daily have been heading in one direction and I assure you it's not down.

When I went to buy my Bader, I was advised there was going to be a 30% increase the next month. In addition, the dollar value against the Euro has been sadly hurting lately.

I wish I had been similarly informed when I was talking to him last week about buying a new TI.

Well, this is good news! My prices are starting to look more and more reasonable.

Arrrgh... this bites.

I was just about to pull the trigger on a new TI... but a price bump of $53 is pushing it into the price range where SWMBO would kill me.
Or... at least I'd get a good "talking to".

I don't think they have had a price increase on their TIs though in the 2 years I have been following them. Eventually prices do go up.

Give them a break guys.
