I have razors that look a lot worse than that and they shave fantastic. Good score, enjoy!

Have that same issue with several of mine. Ugly as sin but shave great.

I think you will fid that the tip on this razor will definitely force you to improve your form over the tip on your GD!!I have a Clauberg TG and it takes and holds a nice edge. Id say you did very well. The key now will be getting or putting that edge on the razor properly. It looks very clean and the edge looks good. Id clean it up as you wish and then hone it or have it honed. Also I would work on your stropping because in all honesty while GD's have their issues they are mostly geometry issues and once those are fixed and the razor is honed properly they hold an edge just fine. You may find if your stropping isnt up to par your new Clauberg loses its edge just as fast as your GD.Congrats on a nice score and best of luck.
