    Default 5/8 and above

I am looking into a change from my TI 5/8 to a Robert Williams 8/8 or 9/8 half hollow. I read a thread last night on this subject and I became more curious about moving up in blade width. Full hollow gives more feedback, half hollow mows the hay like a brush hog. I am interested in hearing more on this if anyone wants to provide their expertise. Thanks for weighing in.

By th way....should put in the Razors category......sorry.

Even less feedback and more mowing on the bigger blades. This includes ears, nose, arms.

By the way,, I am jumping in because I like to go " Weeeeee " when they move the thread.

    Default Thank you

More mowing......you mean the bigger blades are easier to take off an ear, nose or arm with? I haven't considered appendage removal during my shave. A slick soap, a big blade, and an inadvertent slip. Ouch!

I wouldn't want to drop 1 THAT's for sure. The bigger blades just feel more like they are there to do a job and get it done now. A little harder to see around but you learn to get around that.

My biggest is a Robert Williams 7/8, and it is quite a pleasant shaver. I have had no problem adjusting to it. In fact it felt very natural to let the weighty blade do the work.
