I have a 9/16" Kropp that just will not take a decent edge (for me) - I named it the 'Krappy Kropp'
I have tried synthetic waterstones, coticules, slates etc., but the bloody thing will not play ball !
Oh well....

Yes, I have one and it is a Royal Crown. Beautiful 6/8 razor with nice etching but never could get it to shave like I wanted. After the 4th time of honing it, it awoke and is now a great shaver

Like Jimmy I have a personal vendetta against round points or anything under 6/8 and I've never been a fan of quarter hollows or wedges, so that cuts down my choice of razors out there.
