Default Nice day for my tribe!

The girl just brought me the mail.

    New tribe members:
    • Frameback Damascus: beautiful dark horn scales with a white horn (not plastic) wedge. Unfortunately, the scales are not exactly cut to match and are pinned a bit off... Blade mows arm hair so it's close Never shaved with / honed a damascus before so I'm looking forward to this one
    • Heljestrand MK31 ivory scales: great shape, especially the scales. I expected a bit better (excellent) blade but will be happy if some efforts clean several tiny spots up and return it to pristine condition

I hope these exceed my expectations and get to stay for a while. Too bad I have no MAAS and hones in the office

    Cheers

    Default Not real!

I post this so that people don't go and bid crazy on these framebacks! Live and learn

Blade is NOT a real (of any type - Wootz, pattern-welded, whatever) Damascus - just surface pattern. Still a nice razor in all fairness, and should shave well, as blade is stiff and well balanced, and I like the forms.

    Cheers
