Thanked: 24Are there any professional honers in the U.K?
I had a look through the SRP classifieds, but almost all of them were in the US.
I did find a few websites that offered honing, but I'd rather find one recommended by SRP.
Alternatively, send me a PM if you are interested. I have kamisoris, wedges and framebacks that need to be honed.

Thanked: 40Neil Miller (Vintage Straight Razor Sales & Restorations, Hand Made Strops, UK Razor Honing and Vintage Hone Stones) hones commercially, his reputation needs no introduction.

I would email and PM and get some quotes, you can get discounts for multiple razors. I've been quoted as high as £35 each and as low as £9 for 5 razors.
On another note, Post office is a fucking bitch, idiots don't know how to do their jobs. They told me straight razors are a "dangerous weapon" catogory and on the banned list. At most it is on the controlled list as "sharp object" that is allowed so long as it is packaged appropiately as states on the bloody website and not on the stupid banned list poster. I told them it was a safety razor with no blade cause the guy was a brain dead retard.

Thanked: 24That was what I was looking for as well. I have several razors, some of which are only worth 50-60GBP, and so I didn't want to pay 35 just to get them honed.
As for the post office, I usually had them marked as a toiletry. I had a few declared as straight razors, but none of them ever had any issues, even when my post was internally sorted.
