Thanked: 3Fancy Bengall Dating Help and info please
So the Bengall logo I see on the club's razors are drastically different than the one pictured. Could one of you experienced gentlemen enlighten me?
She looked so different and pretty I bought her off the Bay. Can't wait to get her and feel those smooth curves on my neck!

Thanked: 24It seems that C Foster & Co was an importer in Worcester Massachusetts from 1840 to 1880. So that narrows it down a bit.

Thanked: 24I saw your other post in the Bengall forum with the additional photos and decided to dig some more. Results posted above. Interesting stuff! Are the scales ivory? They sure look it in your other pics. What are the measurements of this razor?

Yes what are the blade dimensions? Could this be a corn knife?

Thanked: 3So the update:
So, cutest and one of the prettiest blades I have ever seen. I am confused as to what I feel about this thing...I think I am going to hone her and try it out and see. Please see the pictures below and let me know what all of you think. Now that I know what one is I am thinking corn razor. I cannot tell if it is ivory or not. I do not own any ivory pieces so if it is it would be my first.

I wonder if that point was modified. It kind of looks like the toe was filed to a point. I'd cut my ear off for sure if I ever tried to shave with that.
