    Quite excited about this one.
Joseph Wostenholm & Sons EBRO. Date on scales shows 8/10 03 (hope it's 1903 rather than 2003 )
I bought it for less than £8 in eastern Europe.
Can't wait to restore it. Judging by pics it's in good nick apart from dirt and rust.
    I heard they're a smooth operator.

    I got lucky.
He initially posted 2 razors in the add but didn't photograph the sides with the markings.
As soon as he emailed me the additional pics I snapped up the EBRO.
Should be with me tomorrow morning. Fine sandpaper and polishing paste ready for action.

I really like the looks of that type razor. I still have difficulty honing but they look awesome. One question though what is a quid. I have trouble with the monetary system of other countries. we had an exchange student from spain and I went to see her and her family. I ended up giving her my wallet and let her pay when needed. I know that here in the usa a buck is a dollar 2 bits is a quarter and so on. really nice find on that blade.

Yes the shape reminds me of the Wade and Butchers which are very highly sought after.
This is the first such razor that I acquired. I hope honing won't be too difficult.
A quid btw is slang for one pound sterling (gbp) aka squid
A bit like you local doll hairs I guess.

Very nice, little neatsfoot oil on those scales and they'll buff up into something quite beautiful too.
