    Default Spring Break Finds

My wife works for the schools and this is her Spring Break week, so we drove a few hours north in search of antiques. Here is the score!
    Name: my haul.jpg

    Left side, front to back:
    Yankee Cutlery
    Shapleigh Hdwe St. Louis
J.A. Henckels Twins, Southern Barber Supply Co. Waco TX
    Shumate Tungsteel
    The Palmer 41
    Imperial Razor, The Eagle

    Back row, Ever Ready 100
    Williams with tallow
    Avon Barber Pole
    more Williams with tallow
Bressant clippers, marked Brown & Sharp #00

    Right side, front to back:
    Worcester Razor
    Faultless, no guard
    C-Mon Blackie
    J.A. Henckels Twinworks 401 Platinum
Sta-Sharp Fine Chromized Steel dist by Sears, Roebuck and Company
    Oxford Germania Cutlery

The Sta-Sharp has an almost spotless, unhoned, blade. The tang end of one scale is broken so it was listed for $14.50
There was much more I passed on buying for budget reasons but it was a great little trip!

Looks like you had a fun and productive trip, enough to keep you busy for awhile?

I have several of those blades and they are good shavers.
Also have the Barber Pole. It stays on my desk.

    Very nice scores. Congrats
