Thread: T&B Jacques LeCoultre

Looked through a few threads and didn't find the info i was looking for. Has anyone found a place to get blades for these? I got the frame in a box of razors but no blade so i am curious about what i can do with it at this point.

Since there are no modern replacement blades for this razor, you will have to locate a source who has an extra blade they might want to part with. The problem is that although these blades are all very similar, some will not interchange between frames. I have had six or seven LeCoultres and have tried mixing and matching blades when I discovered this problem. The blades don't seem to be made "cookie cutter" fashion, but have quite a bit of hand grinding and shaping. You might try putting an ad in the classifieds and keep an eye on eBay too.

My thought is you need to buy one that is complete so you have a template for getting new blades made by one of the custom guys, However with Walt saying they need to be fitted that may not work. You may need to go on a buying spree just to try to get to the bottom of this.
