Schlenker's Creation
I won a Schlenker's Creation, New York on ebay a while back. Price was too good to pass up and it's in amazing condition. It is a Solingen made blade and I imagine it's like many razors made in England or Germany for markets in the US. (Hilger, Bagshaw...) I have found it referenced twice in SRP and I'm coming up fairly empty with internet searches and databases.
Does anyone know anything about Schlenker, either as a razor or a business? Mostly curious as to what years they were in business.
Thanks in advance.

Per your request.
The tang looks like it's color case hardened.

The tip of one of the scales is cracked at the pin. Plus, they are celluloid. They gotta go. Plan to re-scale them in something to match the tang colors.

Thanked: 3164Schlenker Hardware Co, was in business from at least as early as 1886 (some say 1880s) up to its closure, lamented by many, in 1995.
They had a number of buidings, before they got around to building there own. In 906 they were at 213 - 215 West Liberty Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan
They would have imported the razor, I believe.
