Yeah it may have been. Who knows wish I could ask my Grandfather, but he died about 22 years ago. He worked for the Corp of engineers building damns and lived all over the world because of it. So it could have come from down there. Although I think the box was in french. I could be wrong I will have to look at that this evening.

57vert. I will try and get some pics of the cigar boxs. I didn't like the quality of the last pic from my tablet so it may take me a while. They are both cigar boxes though one was free at local cigar shop I just added black velvet to the middle bottom. It had little holders for the the cigars already. The other is a ebay buy and it had trays already in it. If you look up the brand My fathers cigar with trays limited edition it is one of their boxes. Just did a google search and images and people use them for pen storage so you can get good images there. I made sure I got one that holds 6 1/2" cigars because i have some large razors.
