    My apologies for the delay, but I wanted to get a shave in with my first vintage razor. Thanks to member manah for a GREAT razor at a fair price.

    I was a little tentative with this shave, my first with a square point. I needn't have bothered . . . it was like a scythe in the field. Effortless is the word that comes to mind. A keen edge made things easy for this, my 14th shave with a straight. LOVED IT.

    One question . . . can anyone tell me what the scales are made of? Just curious. Feel kind of like wood, but they are too straight for that, I am sure.
