Red face How do you support RAD?

I have commented recently that I am a typical newbie whose RAD is one arm in hand cuffs already....until I see something better to replace something in my current inventory...for now.

How many folks are willing admit to acting like a true junkie and selling off stuff(not SR or supplies) just to satisfy their RAD?

Luckily(or not), I pride myself on living a very clutter free lifestyle so am poor in the area of trying to raise funds outside of my normal salary and emergency cash stash.

But.....there are still a few rifles in the cabinet and an old saddle all of which ain't been used in over 25 years...... )

    So...any stories to share????

At this point in my life, I have gotten beyond some of the more expensive things in life. All my children are adults and my mortgage is paid, I have no current car payments. My job does not have a great wage, but it is steady. I am somewhat lacking in bad habits. I do not smoke or drink. My one vice is shaving stuff. I do not have to sacrifice any important things in order to support my RAD. It is however bothersome all the same. I have enough razors to supply my entire region. So for me it is not what I have to do without that shows the junky, it is the rapid amassing of stuff. I buy razors faster than I can repair and shave with each one once. It is not just razors for me either, G10, horn, bone slabs, plastic, it is a little disheartening when I look at it all disorganized.

I have an arrangement with my Fiance...

If she can buy a new pair of fancy yoga pants from lululemmon, I can buy a new razor...

She just bought a new pair yesterday.....

No mortgage or other major bills and retired does it for me. Almost forgot, a very forbearing wife which in modern terms would be an enabler.

If my wife gets diamond jewelry, I get a gun. If I NEED another razor I usually buy her something to offset the guilt.

I did sell a watch once that I did not wear to buy a Hart.
