just because someone is going to mention it eventually...I don't own one but the Ralph Aust also is new production and there was a thread a few months ago about their shoulderless version which was really good looking.
Edit in retrospect it may have been an LE version

I do like the Boker, it reminds me of a W&B I picked up recently.

I would consider a Aust, but SRD is out of Aust shoulderless blades. Plus Revisor, I'm inquirring about them, but haven't heard back.

Revisor are shut for Easter- think they're back after the 12th. I have a 6-0037 which is similar to the op's choices. Deal direct as has been said. Terrific service. Best Razor I own.

The Dovo Bismarck can scratch a soft strop like the Kanayama because of the worked spine being quite sharp. About the only negative I can think of.

Personally, I avoid anything with gold wash these days. The gold will come off if you look at it too long. For a Sunday Shaver it's fine but not an everyday working piece. I haven't used either so I can comment about them but from what I have heard on the forum they are both quality pieces. Lately folks have been praising the new Bokers.

I'm not 100% sure on this, so some one please chime in (remember,"NO bashing", just tasteful criticism) the older TI's are preferred, but the newer steel is prone to micro cracking? Or is this only true on a certain range of TI's?
