    Ontario is both a town and a county in NY. Interestingly, the town is not in the county, it's in Wayne. I would be surprised if the name on the razor was connected to Canada, but it could be.

    There are razor makers in Canada, in fact there are two very close to you. Both of them are members here. PM me if you want names.

    Yes, there are Canadian custom razor makers as well as custom knife makers. I know at least 1 custom knife maker in my town alone. I should qualify what I had said about there being no Canadian made straight razors. Somehow I never think of custom made but always production line made as in Solingen. I still doubt we had any of those type of manufacturers in Canada.

    I can't remember his name, but isn't there a well know custom razor maker from Quebec, a French maker?
