Thanked: 0Trying to find info on some razors
I bought a lot of 5 razors to get two of them. I'm thinking about selling two of the others and would like to find some background on them.
The first is stamped Walter Kesemeyer Solingen-Wald Germany on one side. The other side says WEKA Solingen.
The second razor is stamped 110 F. Schaaf & Co. Solingen on one side and Importe D'Allmagne on the other.
Can anyone help me with the history of either manufacturer?

Get you a search going at the top-right of the page. You should find out a lot which may already has been said.

Thanked: 0I tried a search before I posted this and all I found about Walter Kesemeyer was a razor called the Sansoucci. Here's some pics of the Kesemeyer razor:

Thanked: 1184The stabilizer on the first 1 looks like somebody went after it with a grinder, and that's a shame.
The 2nd is not so bad but who ever had them before had a thing about stabilizers and heels.
If searches don't turn up anything you may have to wait for somebody to come along that has one and knows something by chance.
You may just have to flip them on the bay and see what you get.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
