Thread: Ralf Aust Basic 5/8 Round Point

My first razor was the basic model Ralf Aust Round Point 5/8 from SRD. I only have a few razors, a couple that were twice the price of the Aust but that inexpensive Aust just gives a fantastic shave every time. It is very easy to refresh, when needed and holds the edge for a long time.

For the price I don't think this razor can be beat. Just impressed with it, every day that I use it.

I agree. My first razor was the Aust 5/8 RP. It's still a favorite and a great bargain.

I completely agree with you. It is excellent razor for beginners or long time straight shavers.
It is nice to see Aust bringing back straight razor production and they just keep expanding their portfolio of offerings.
