Article obout razors history
Could somebody hung up the antique article about Saheffiel razors?, I lost it, and I find a razor with an inscription I remember this article tella abouit, it is the razor, regards

Thanked: 1184Wolfpack has a collection of those. I don't think he has THAT one though. Most times you see it etched on the blade face. many companies used it although in different wording one way or another. Shave well, Lather well, etc.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Henry Tilton Lummus, the well regarded judge and antiquarian, born 1876, died 1960 wrote two articles about razors:
Old Sheffield Razors, and
More Old Razors
Some errors are present, but they are a valuable resource.
They are available in pdf format here.
He mentions some mottos that appear on razors, but I cannot remember yours being one of them.

Roberto, that one is definitely different from others I have seen. I have the ones that say it on the blade or on the spine.
