Picked this one up on the bay pretty inexpensively. The scales are discolored and in fairly rough shape, but the blade is nearly NOS if it wasn't before the seller honed it. I didn't care much for the hone and started from scratch and the edge came out fantastically! The gold wash as absolutely flawless and there isn't so much as a scratch on the blade anywhere. I may look to re-scale this one (or more pointedly, find someone to do so on my behalf). I will shave with it this evening, but if it is anything like my other Henckels, I have yet to meet one I didn't love!
