Thread: Which TI

Hello all,
I'm interested in buying a new TI, the only question is which one? I prefer a 6/8 blade and have narrowed down my choices to two; the historical heavy frame worked back or whatever with stamina scales or the regular production with horn scales. Does anyone have both of these models and how do they compare? I understand that the historical is recent production but uses older forgings. Also, that they tend to have somewhat shoddy build quality. Have the regular TI's improved on this? Finally, I read somewhere that the new forgings are about three Rockwells higher, is this true for the historical models as well?
