There are some great people on here. I've sent a couple of new members straights to help them get going when they couldn't afford anything yet. I don't mid either because I have a pile of straight razor's. some of which I got cheap on the bay!!!! Ever since Birnando sent me a Filly & I wanted to so something for him & he said for me to just pay it forward so I have. Brigand is another great guy. There are a lot of good people here who are great assets to the shaving community! I never could afford a Filly at the time, then I found a new one on the bay for a steal & got it. I agree. I just found the Elite on Amazon (actually Sold by Salida Cutlery and Fulfilled by Amazon) for $175 with free shipping, but there was an additional $5.10 tax charge. Even so, I still think I got a smokin' deal, although not quite the deal I got on the Arbolito I mentioned earlier.

Engine that was the only thing I asked him was to pay it forward. Lots of guys have helped me on here. Voidmaster, Cuddarunner, Phrank, Harrywally, and Marty to name a few. This is what it's all about.


That Philly is beautiful. Hopefully one day I come across a affordable one someday.

This razor is no show winner (overall a real decent razor) but it gives him the opportunity to see what he thinks of Boker and do as he likes with it.

Yeah, I had just sold something on the bay & I just so happened to look at some Filly's & that one came up real cheap for a bin price & I looked at it over & over for about 5 minutes & determined it was new when the listing said it was used. I went ahead & pulled the trigger & when I got it, I looked at it through my loupe & it has never touched a hone! I should be arrested for stealing it...........ha,ha!!!! I saw one exactly like it go for $265, a lot more than I paid for mine & it had rust on the tang & scratch marks on the spine indicting it had been honed so I got a hell of a deal!

The only drawback is it is 7/8 but it is beautiful!

I know TSS has them. But you may not do business with them. I know folks have their favorite vendors.
