    Default Joseph Rodgers Frameback Razor

I found this neglected "baguette" style Joseph Rodgers&Sons frameback a couple of months ago, blade only, lonely, and needing a new set of clothes, a bath, and some TLC.

So fresh from a major restore, this unique looking Joseph Rodgers frameback razor was cleaned up, polished, and given a new set of horn scales and three pins to steady his nerves!

That has a most unusual shape to the tang. What a nice find!

Thanks - Val did an awesome job as usual!

Was just looking at that Frederick Reynolds you posted in the Classifieds, beautiful job on that razor Shaun, it really pops and looks pretty much like it could be in a shop window 150 years ago - very nice!

Boy is that nice!! The blade, the shape of the tang, the shape of the scales, the third pin, and the fact that it's a frameback all add up to one beautiful piece of shaving artistry. I can't imagine how well it shaves.
    Congratulations on a real beauty!
