    Default ebay purchasse

Curious as to whether I did ok or not lol. Picked this one up as "buy it now". From what I can see, the blade appears to be fine. Anyone know anything about this brand?

I have 2 Challenge Cutlery razors... one shave like a dream and the other is in my "rainy for a week" restoration box.

mine shaves well but it came to me with a nick that was a pain to hone out. other than that not a bad deal.

yours looks nicer than mine did so you should have no worries.

that sure makes me feel alot better lol. This guy has several straights that appear to be bargains, it was a tuff choice. What tipped the scales, no pun intended, was the scales on this one. It was just a little fancier than the others.

ROFL I didn't notice the added "S" in the title. Seems when I want a double letter I don't get it, but when I don't up the extra letter pops. Glad I did ok tho lol. Will definitely have to learn to hone now, as I am reasonably certain this one won't be shave ready lol.

I have a Challenge Cutlery "Celebrated Rifle Razor." It has plain black celluloid handles and some rust and pitting. It's in my "some day I'll restore this" box.

I paid $20 for it at a local flea market.

My first razor was a Challenge Cutlery I bought from Joe Chandler. Its still one of my best shavers. Easy to hone and it stays sharp for a long time. I've been looking for another. How did I miss this one?

    Nice pick up freebird

I added this ebayer to my favorite sellers list. At least I can keep an eye on what deals he puts on the block. His prices seems reasonable enough. The razor should be here by Sat at the latest (Wichita Kansas to Chouteau Oklahoma isn't too far, could've picked it up if not for gas prices.

It came in today's mail. It is sweeet. The scales aren't loose on this one, it looks like it has one hairline crack near a pin, but other than that it's, just one sweet razor. The scales have the marking "K.B.EXTRA", or at least that's what it looks like. he K.B. E is legible, but the rest fades out.

Now, to gather up some dough so I can send it out to be honed. I'm too hamhanded to risk this one.
