Stub Tail Issue
Okay, so I really enjoyed my first shave with my newly restored W&B stubby, but I did come across one issue that I need to address.
I have large hands, approx. 10 inches from tip of my middle finger to the base of my palm. Generally, I have been holding my razors with the forefinger and middle finger bracketing the scales, and the thumb on the underside of the tang. The problem with my stub-tail is that my middle finger is too large for a comfortable fit. Even the ring finger is a bit too large for comfort. Anyone have any solutions, or is it just something you all put up with. I am prepared to live with it, because the blade is superb, but if there is a solution, I would love to give it a try.

All kidding aside,my hands are not that big but stubbies I never found comfortable use.
I do not understand why they were even made that way.Last edited by pixelfixed; 06-08-2015 at 04:46 PM.

Most people were smaller back then.

I rest my case.

Thanked: 24Dang. And your stubby isn't even all that stubby. I use more of a squeezing the scales in between my fingers grip without any real pressure on the tail.???

i've always found it more comfortable to hold the razor with the scales parallel to the blade.(kind of kamasari style)

There are a few areas on my face where I do that already.
