Nice razor, I love my Aust. I'd really like to get one with the horn scales, jealous.

Got this with the wood handle and it is an amazing razor. Love the design, balance, weight and above all the shave. RA are fantastic razors.

My first straight was a RA from SRD 5/8 full hollow ground basic model and it is a fantastic shaver. I want to get a 7/8 eventually but have been too busy collecting Dorko and Filharmonica's lately. I must say the RA is one of the best remaining current producers of straight razors today.

I have and like a 5/8 plain version. I will eventually try one of those larger ones out, especially if it has stunning horn scales like the ones in this thread!

I am not sure what Lynn does to a razor to get it so perfect! All I know is when you get a RA and I assume any other from him it is going to be one of the finest cutting razors you will buy! I wish I had half his honing talents! But I guess Lynn has been doing this so many years he eats and sleeps it.

I will certainly get another RA because the value for the money spent may just be one of the best razors a man can own. My next in the RA brand may just be a 7/8 big boy!

I have 3, 1 5/8 and 2 6/8. Shave great, holds the edge better then any other razor for the price. Fantastic quality.
