Hi.
Can someone give me an age estimate on that razor and I would gladly accept some advice on how to get the blade like new again 😊
More pictures in comments.
Best regards Orn

You might be able to get an approximate age by going to STRAZORS.com - all about classic razors - DOVO, Fritz Bracht, Solingen, Germany. and scrolling down to the company logos. See if you can match one up with what is on you razor.
I would not use any polish or sandpaper on the etching of the your blade as they will quickly disappear. Looks to be a nice razor in good condition so you might want to send it out for restoration.

Welcome! That razor is in good shape already, what are you trying to accomplish? Is it a family razor or are you going to try to start shaving with it?

Thanked: 0Hi and thanks for the reply, the blade is in ok condition overall and is shave ready, but got some dark waterspots on it that I would like to get rid of😊
I am using it for shaving and it works like a charm, it is only the "look" i'm thinking about 😉

I personally wouldn't do anymore than Polish it with a metal Polish. I like Maas or never dull. Polish it, use it, Polish it... Until it shines the way you want.
