Default Straight razor with a guard

Forgive me if this is the wrong section.

A friend and former boss man has asked me to find and restore a vintage razor to gift to his barber.

The only requirement is that it has to have a guard.

So, if anyone has a Torrey "little guard" razor or something comparable for sale, please let me know.

    Thanks,

It would be best for you to check out ebay, etsy and ruby lane and other online auction sites
as we don't encourage buying or selling here unless it's in the classifieds
    Good luck.

Make sure you find out if they are looking for a full size razor with the guard or not since the "Little Guard" is just over 2 inches. Finding one with the guard can be difficult since I think most people ended up throwing them out or losing them. The "Little Guard" I have is missing the guard.

Rolls Razor, well sharpened, is just a straight on a stick with a (ha ha) guard. They shave as well as straight razors, just easier. I have used mine often, only have had great shaves and nary a nick - keep the blade nearly flat to the face and they run smooth as silk. They're especially nice for "C" or "J" strokes under the jawline and sides of the neck for honest-to-gosh effortless BBS in the tough spots. What barber wouldn't want a nice old Rolls, anyhow?
