Lather stains
I have got 2 razors that both have what I call lather stains. Both on the side of the blade with the etching. I wonder whether that is mere coincidence or does etching makes a blade more prone to corrosion and staining on the side of the etching. I like to think I always dry my blades meticulously.
Pics aren't great but you can see a wave-like pattern on both blades. Pattern looks very much like the way lather sticks to a blade after one or a few strokes.
Any thoughts?

I've seen lather stains appear on an old but restored blade during the shave. They usually require Maas or some other polishing agent to remove. Once removed, they can be to a certain extent prevented by applying and polishing with Renaissance Wax.

OT but is the first razor a Klas Törnblom? One of mine has the same exact markings on the blade.
