Thread: My great grandpa's straight

I like it! Good to get an heirloom in that shape. Were it my grandad's, I would only hand-polish it and hone it up for an occasional shave, display it in-between. It looks pretty much like Grandpa's razor as it is, IMO. Nice shape!

My dad unearthed his granddad's straights today! There was a couple of razors I did not recognize and one Clover Brand. All are in pretty rough shape, my grandad re handled one of them in some sort of wood. My dad had originally said they were going to be mine, but then decided he wanted to keep them for now

While I was in TX, my dad swore he had two straights from his grandfather but only found the Ern. He texted me this today..."Found the other one. Says I. Rosenbaum---Soligen Germany."
