Are there any hot spots in Ottawa?
For razors, I mean . . . my nephew and his wife were delivered of their first baby this morning, so it looks like I will be making the trek up there in the next couple weeks in order to be introduced to the newest member of the family. Might as well do a little hunting while I am there, right?
7lbs 8oz baby girl makes me think a 7/8 razor is in my future. LOL

Check out Knifewear on Bank St. It has been a while since I have been there so I'm not sure about the selection, but last time I stopped in it was pretty good. Considering they sell a lot of Japanese knives and stones, it isn't really a surprise that they carry Kamisoris. So if you're into those, it may well be worth the visit. Decent selection of soaps, hones, and DE too if I recall.
Other than that, I don't think there is much. My barber (Imperial) is across the street and down a bit from Knifewear and they do carry some straights and DEs but it is really really overpriced. Great place for a hair cut, not a great place to shop for razors.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
