    Default Coconut Oil?

I have seen a lot of post about storing a straight razor using mineral oil, camilla oil, gun oil, Vaseline. I haven't seen anyone mention coconut oil. so I was wondering if that would be a good oil for razor storage? Just out of curiosity.

Not sure about using it as a razor oil, but I use it as an aftershave balm and a shaving oil for doing my beard edges so I can see what I'm doing.

I use it for an aftershave balm as well with lavender oil and tea tree oil. It works great! It would be nice if it did make a good razor oil cause it's always something I have a lot of.

coconut oil is also very good for hairs...about storing i think isn't problem but you can buy vaseline at better price and work surely fine. Better solution for storing long time is grease and not oil....but if you have at home coconut oil you can use it with no problems.
Personally i have at home vaseline oil for oenological use...so i use it
