    Default Dubl Duck Goldedge "Bay" Find

    I picked this one up on the bay and took a bit of a risk. The seller had not listed any other razors, but the pics looked pretty good and the price was right (I offered well under the BIN and he accepted). What arrived was actually better than i expected! This appears to be NOS. There is a small chip near the toe, but it will come out super easily once I get it on the hones. The scales are a tad warped (just a slight bow) but not bad. The pin is a wee bit loose but it can easily be tightened. Overall, based on what other blades in similar condition are going for on the bay, I would say this was a bit of a steel! Here are the pics;

    Looks great make sure the chip is a chip and not a crack because those Goldedge have a super hollow grind I would check under the loupe before you proceed.

    I already have cleaned it up and honed it. No crack fortunately...just a little chip! I will be giving it a test shave tonight! I taped the spine, of course...as it had 0 wear.
