Default Wish I had more knowledge on razors as I came across over 100 yesterday at brimfield

There is a huge flea market if any of you collectors are near brimfield ma. I'm talking about hundreds of vendors. I collect hones but not razors so didn't buy any at all as most were 60$ plus but nice stuff. One guy had 6 gorgeous ones. One was carved like corn on cob and 2 had heads and bodies carved in them and couple other very ornate designs. Ine was Henkel maybe but that wasn't as fancy. I saw literally over 100. One guy had an old leather thing rolled up with lots of razors inside and looked old. He wanted $600 for all but there were lots. No stones to be found though.

Wish I had the money to them & for traveling. It would be a well worth trip I'm sure! I would want to look at the ones rolled up for $600.....................
Oh well, that's life! Plus it would be a vacation as well.

That's quite a selection from what you describe! Wish I was close enough for a road trip

What you were seeing was probably not carved. From your descriptions, they were likely molded of celluloid, not actually carved!
    Still, some cool stuff.

    I rest my case.
