Lubricating your Straights?
Right now I have been using the antirust sleeve to store my straights. These sleeves are new and at times the razors have an oil looking residue on them (especially the scales.) Some folks use them with no issues. Some do not, but use mineral oil.
Has anyone ever used a product on your razors called Turf Glide? It is an oil free lubricant. If so, whats your experience been.
Thanks,
H

I have used Tuf Glide. Never had a problem with a razor I put it on rust. But I've not had problems with others (with nothing on them) either.

Thanked: 4827For longer term storage I use VCI anticorrosion paper, also for shipping. I do use tuff glide on the pivots on a new restore. I think it is good stuff.
