Thanked: 0Found in the wilds of MI...
A Wostenholm and a Dovo.
Too bad the Dovo ended up with a "barbers notch" on the edge instead of where it should be.

Thanked: 4828The Wostenholme looks like it still has life left, the Dovo on the other hand is pretty much just a nice set of vintage scales.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanked: 0I figured for <$10, I'd at least rescue the Dovo from the thrift store case.

That's a decent price for a nice set of scales, just be careful taking them off I broke a simlar set being careless!

Yeah, not bad for the scales but now you have to find the other piece to the puzzle like I did here:

This was luck! As I have mentioned, the only other razor I have seen like that is owned by Zak aka voidmonster. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to find the other piece to the puzzle.

Thanked: 0Is eBay the best place to look for another Dovo 27? I'd love to find one with scale issues and get one, decent razor out of the parts.

Thanked: 3795Oh, what the heck. Take a shot at honing the Dovo. Ignore the barber's notch entirely and just hone the rest of the edge. After it is finished, you can make the notch safe by dulling the corners of the notch on the corner of a hone.
