Thread: Filarmonica 14 or Henckels 14 ??

I'm thinking about taking the plunge on either a Filarmonica 14 or a Henckels 14. I already have the smaller version of both razors in 6/8 size with similar grinds. Both are awesome and shave like greased ligtning. I'm looking for any input from owners of these razors and maybe, if lucky, from someone that owns both. I know that both will be awesome and I probably won't go wrong with either, and that it might just be a matter of preference.

You can't go wrong either way.
The best option is to get both of them. Reinforcing RAD since....

They will both shave extremely well. With all things being equal as far as condition and shipping, you are likely to pay quite a bit more for the Filli. Get the Henckels and use the money you save to get another piece of gear. I think you would be surprised at how much extra stuff you can get for the price difference.
You will not be disappointed by the shave from either.

Filarmonica if it is a Jose Monserrat Pou , if it is a newer model then go with the Henckels- there are reasonable deals to be had on the filly

I would take a Henckels over a Filarmónica any day, and not only because of the price. Granted, it would probably still cost more than I would be willing to pay.

But I absolutely love dem Henckels, sadly I don't have many, but I love everything about them and will add to the collection whenever I can, amazing shavers
I don't get the allure of Filarmonica razors, at all, but that's just me
