Thanked: 1Jersey straight razors
Hi guys. I'm still new to straight razors and the forum, and had a question. I love the vintage razors and have begun my collection with vintage. Still seeing how old I can find. I'm also trying to learn to hone so I mainly go for shave ready. Anyway I'm a Jersey boy and was able to find two razors from Jersey. One is an Electric Co. razor, and the other is an A.F. Bannister Co. razor. Both from Newark NJ. My question is, is there any other companies that came out of New Jersey? Older the better, but just wondering if anyone knew anything. Appreciate any help you guys can give.

Thanked: 101I just picked up a Cranford Razor Works 9/16" razor today at a flea market. VERY sharp blade! Cleaned up the razor with metal polish, honed on my Coti & stropped on my Shell strop & WOW! What a smooth & nice shave.
