Ok just starting and using a basic dovo to start. I turn 41 if a few days, this is my 40th birthday gift to myself. Wont be using it for a long time, till I learn with my dovo..

If I understand you have a Dovo now you are "learning" on and this W&B on the way. I guess maybe I am missing something but a straight for the most part is a straight. Only things that are different are blade sizes and the different styles. Whether you use the W&B or the Dovo, the outcome should be the same, a nice shave if done properly.
BTW- Happy 41st Birthday, I think?????German blade snob!
