A. T. Murray & sons razor ?
This razor was given to me as a gift recently, I have not been able to find any information anywhere on it, it's a 6/8 A. T. Murray ( Diamond edge ) came without a box. Great condition, maybe someone here has some knowledge on the brand ?

Nice condition, looks almost new. Looks like German-made for an English retailer with a couple of locations. You can bet it is from a bit before WWII.

Thanks for the reply Sharptonn, yeah that's my take on it too, supposedly it is shave ready, but the only way to tell for sure is try it out on a shave when I get around to it. It is a nice looking razor, don't think it was used much if any.

I just wanted to update on this one, been using it and it's turning out to be an exceptional shaver that went easily in my razor rotation. I notice it's a really light razor, not much "heft" to it ( just a side note observation ) it's a great sharp and smooth blade that holds up well right through to the end of the shave.

Thanked: 4249Like Sharptonn said its definitely German made for A. T. Murray, Liverpool, that retailer comes up mostly around 1920's give or take a few years. Seems like they were a hardware store as their name is seen on handsaw and various tools.
That said glad you like the razor, looks to be in very good condition. Enjoy!

We are glad to hear it shaves well! I have taken a chance on a few, some have turned out good and others not so much. It's fun to give something different a shot

Hey, thanks for that information Martin103 ! Interesting piece of information on this razor, appreciate you posting that here. It sheds a little bit of insight on this brand, until now I've been clueless on it.
