"New" Henckel razors
Are those any good at all? I've read they aren't as good as the older ones but how do they compare to what's commonly available nowdays: dovo, TI, filly, etc?

Thanked: 346I've got one, a 6/8 from Cutlery & More, and think it's every bit as good as my vintage Friodurs (both Henckels and Crowley variants). At least one member had one and thought it was much inferior, so maybe they aren't as consistent as the vintage Friodurs. Mine hones like a Friodur (both good and bad) and feels like a Friodur when shaving; it definitely doesn't hone or shave like my Puma or Dovo INOX razors. I took mine camping a few weeks ago and even with cold water and generally poor shaving conditions it just wiped the whiskers off my face.
