    That's what happens when you pay top dollar elsewhere, and hope to recoup it!
    I have seen a few Puma Stainless on the bay recently, all in my opinion, terribly over priced. Your salesman might simply have looked there himself to determine what he can charge.
    I myself sold a 5/8 Stainless a few years back. Near mint and under a cnote. The stainless never seemed to sell for as much as the carbons. The recent high prices being asked are just that, Asking prices. I don't think any have actually sold for that much. But if you like it, its you who gets to determine its worth. =)

    I like it, but not for the price they are asking. Will wait it out and see if the price drops.

    I thought the shave was just alright, unlike with their carbon steel razors. Every other stainless steel razor I had I liked better, many far better.
