I made a typo in my previous post. I was thinking I did & I just found it. Sorry for my mistake.
Crandall Cutlery was in business for 7 years instead of 5 years:

Thanks Alex ! I've read the history of the Case family enterprises in the past, but never as complete as that PDF. I knew they had a problem with factories burning down, but not to the extent of one after another, and in different states. If I was an arson investigator I'd be looking at what insurance they may have had. OTOH, maybe that was a hazard of the business ?

I'm pretty sure there was a period where they did access razors made in Germany. Probably the real McCoy. IMHO.

It IS a genuine modern-production WR Case razor (again) produced in Germany FOR WR Case BY Dovo in the 1990's as WR Case was owned by Parker. WR case is currently owned by Zippo, I believe.

Ain't NO WAY it will show up in WR Case history. It simply did not exist. (Rest assured! )

Whoa...so Tom, just to be clear: It is a WR Case razor produced in Slogien, Germany by Dovo which was owned by Parker who used a Zippo to smoke Colonel Mustard on the Forum?

Well at least I'm not the only one to make a typo.

Solingen, not Slogan. It might be the computers. I first typed Solingen correctly & it changed it to Slinger!!!!!!! I need to disable this crap! They screwed up whoever developed that crap in the system. Whoever it was needs to be taken out behind the woodshed...............

In 2008, Mr. Stremmel, the managing director of DOVO:
    "CASE
DOVO did make and will make razors for CASE USA, these are labeled as Case razors and are not allowed to be sold from Solingen but will always completely be distributed by Case, USA.
