Thanked: 2Mastro Livi razor :)
I received my Mastro Liv razor today and have just taken a few pics of it, it is far better in real life.
I have only shaved one with it and already I am very impressed with the quality, it is an 8/8 spike point with Elk scales.
This will be the last razor I buy, (I hope) as well as this I have two by Robert Williams. Both my RW's have Stag scales so for this one I went with with the Elk.
Regards

Now it's time to get a JC and what if Mike gets into making razors?
P.S. Another one of our reputable members (not me as I don't have a reputation ) has been setting up a forge and may start coming up with some interesting design. His file-work is definitely getting there.

Mastro Livi razor :)
Yes, I was particularly happy with the outcome of this engaging sale. It has been quite worthwhile, also because Terry really had a pretty precise idea as to what he wanted, so I guess the final outcome pretty much rewards his clear vision.
Yes, when I saw that razor I envyied him a bit, it will last for generations...if you think about it it's worth only 4 years of Gillette's fusion blades purchases...really..
P.S. Mastro Livi was thrilled to know that one of his customs ended up in Australia.

Thanked: 2I have used the razor a couple of times now and I am even more impressed with it, it gives a great shave. I am very happy with the final product, not only in terms of shaving and build / design quality but how it came together in a finished product that was exactly what I was after. This was in no small part due to Vincent taking the time to ensure he knew exactly what I was after.
I found Vincent to be very easy to deal with, he gave a professional service, always responding promptly to my emails.
For those of us outside the US, I can recommend Vincent (http://shaveshop.co.uk) with confidence.
Thanks also to all who have given details of the Livi razors and their experience with them, it was from reading the collective views that I decided to buy one.
I will post a pic of the Livi with the two Robert Williams razors soon. All of which are excellent razors.
Regards
Terry
