Thanked: 96Genco razors
I have been collecting Genco razors for a year. I bought them on ebay and the least expensive ones I learned to hone on. One I bought is a Vanadium, see picture. It was advertised as new condition. What you see is how the razor came in. It has oil on it so it doesn't reflect the shine. The owner said she found it in her grandfathers drawer when they were going through it after he passed. It was in the original box. I had a barber friend look at it and he has owned and used Genco's and said it is indeed all original parts. I don't shave with it. I just like to look at a 80-90 year old razor and marvel at the way it was mass produced. I read Lynn said the Genco's hold an edge as good as any mass produced razor and they stay sharp. I have found that to also be true. The other razor in the picture is a Genco I brought back to life and I do shave with that once in awhile. Your thoughts on Genco's.
