Picked up my 6/8 Esbjerg from the post office yesterday and wanted to give my impression of the razor. I was kinda nervous about opening the box because I was worried that I wouldn't think it was worth what it cost but after taking it out of the box I was nothing but smiles. This razor was deffinately made by a true craftsman. The blade is flawless and the scales are beautiful. I read a review on here about the 8/8th model but I don't care for larger razors.

On to the shave. I didn't get home til late last night so I had to wait til today and shave with it. I wiped the oil off and built some lather and noticed the razor had a very sharp edge. It wasn't as heavy or as hard to manage as I anticipated. No doubt the 8/8ths would probably be too much for my taste. The razor shaved awesome and I got a great shave from it, deffinately took my time. No buyers remorse here! Did my normal post shave and stroped on fabric 15 laps then 50 on leather and shaved my head with it. Again I have to say this razor was really sharp and demands attention. Got one small cut on my head where I had previously knicked it Tuesday with my 1/4 hollow W&B.
All in all I am very impressed with the looks and performance of this razor.

The one problem I had with the razor was when I stroped it I kept hearing a rattlingly noise. I finally figured out that it was coming from the spacer, a couple light taps took care of it but I was very cautious tapping it.

I couldn't find a review on the smaller model of this razor and took a chance. Glad I did! This razor is sold by SRD and I have been lusting after one for a couple months. Anyways just thought I would share another fine moment for me in straight razor shaving.
