Thread: Gillette Debutante Questions

Hello,

I have received a Gillette Debutante from my grandparents. It is in a Wine/Burgundy case however the handle is split right now the middle. Is that something I could get fixed? If not, are most handles interchangeable?

I was also wondering if I could get some history on it since most of it is scarce. The only thing I've gotten out of it is that it is a female razor with some saying it was the razor that got woman to start shaving their armpits.

A lot of Gillette handles are interchangeable. From memory, the Debutant is an "Old" model from the 1920's. You should be able to find a similar ball end handle on ebay without too much trouble.
