    I have seen several members show those, however it looks as if the toe on yours is chipped-off?

    Yup - you have seen it before.....

    And the toe looks like it's been modified.

    I would not go so far as to say rare. It is a bit of an odd one though. I suspect that it was a short lived item. They are around but not plentiful like so many of their models. I also agree there is something unusual with the toe, like it has been stubbed.

    Looks like it's been modified, the toe would not be conducive to stropping without potentially damaging the strop in my opinion.

    Looking at the one in question along with Andrew's I think it probably was chipped and reshaped, but I could be wrong,

    That one is most likely chipped. It's not a common model but they are out there. The chip just happens to look like it was intentional, or it was reshaped to smooth it out. That kind of concave / swaged / whatever you want to call it was made by a few makers. Greaves made a 'Royal' concave that was similar.
