Rare W&B razor?
Hi all!
Can anyone please tell me anything about this razor?
Best regards,

I have seen several members show those, however it looks as if the toe on yours is chipped-off?
Here! Also a discussion on 'swaged' I think!

"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 4826I would not go so far as to say rare. It is a bit of an odd one though. I suspect that it was a short lived item. They are around but not plentiful like so many of their models. I also agree there is something unusual with the toe, like it has been stubbed.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Looking at the one in question along with Andrew's I think it probably was chipped and reshaped, but I could be wrong,
I was wrong once before ......
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That one is most likely chipped. It's not a common model but they are out there. The chip just happens to look like it was intentional, or it was reshaped to smooth it out. That kind of concave / swaged / whatever you want to call it was made by a few makers. Greaves made a 'Royal' concave that was similar.
