I've been using a 5/8 and a couple 6/8's and then a little over a month ago I picked up a 7/8 Spanish point Ralf Aust. I really like the extra weight and heft of that larger razor and it has been giving me great shaves. Still like them all, but the 7/8 is my favorite.

I like 5/8 to 7/8 but will use a 4/8 or 8/8 on occasion. Grind and brand make little difference to me.

I have pretty much sold off just about all of my larger razors. I use 5/8s and 6/8s razors these days. I find large razors clumsy and the large scales just get in the way. The smaller razors are simply more maneuverable.

The larger razors have more of a wow factor especially custom type ones. I'm out of that stage though.

Luckily there is something for every taste in wet shaving.
